Laurel Hollopeter Manager of the Iowa City East Hy-Vee Floral Department, has received numerous awards with his work in the floral industry. In 2001 he was named Iowa's Designer Of The Year. With that distinction he was named as part of the design team for Governor Vilsack's inauguration celebration. He has received numerous awards at the Society of Iowa Florist conventions during the past twenty years. See his awards listed below.
