Welcome to your Iowa City East Hy-Vee. My name is Lam Chau and I am the Chinese Express Manager. If you're looking for fresh and delicious Chinese food, check out the Iowa City East Hy-Vee Chinese Express. Every day from 11:00 am to 8:30 pm we feature 8 entrees daily along with fried and steamed rice, chicken or pork eggrolls and crab rangoon to let you customize your lunch or dinner. Our regular entrees include Sweet and Sour Chicken, General Spicy Chicken, Cashew Chicken. Beef and Brocolli,Chinese Dinner Mongolian Beef and Chicken Vegetable. Thursday and Fridays we also feature Sesame Chicken. Besides our regular entrees, most items on our menu can be cooked for you in five minutes or less and are available in pint or quart quantities.

We have a student meal which includes one entree, rice and eggroll or crab rangoon for only $3.49. All you need to do is show us your student ID. We also feature family dinner for 2, dinner for 4 and dinner for six. We do not use MSG in any entrees. Also check out our best meal to go case in town.
